Praying for encouraging news for September 1st......
After a weekend "away" camping in our backyard, we are feeling a bit more accepting of the news in Vietnam. We talked with the adoption agency and went over possible other options and all other doors were closed. The agency highly encouraged us to wait until September 1st as there should be more information even though there will not be an interim agreement.

Waiting is tough, especially when you want something so badly and are so sure it is God's will for you. Just know that HE will never leave you, or do you harm, or forsake you in all of this. HE has a plan and the perfect timing is in HIS hands. Your blog is a great idea! Keep it up. Someday you will be able to look back and 'relive' these days, knowing that God had it all worked out from the beginning. I am keeping you in my prayers.

Being patient and waiting for God to answer is so harder, but trying to hear God's gentle whisper above our loud demands is sometimes even harder! Just continue to pray and know God will give you peace to make the right decision. Peace is definantly the key. I remember when you first told me about adopting Ava you were amazed on how God layed Vietnam on your heart and Rich's and confirmed it through otherways. Don't forget those times.
